Along with co‑authors M. Guillemette and I. Pandey, Dr. Sabina Pandey, an assistant professor of finance at Appalachian State University, recently published research in the Financial Planning Research Journal examining the role of life insurance in retirement income satisfaction.
The study finds that life insurance ownership enhances individuals’ perceived financial security by acting as a psychological buffer in retirement planning. This work contributes to research on household finance and retirement well‑being.
